Get stronger – without burning yourself out

Personal training and strength coaching for people who want to feel stronger, move better, and train with purpose; not confusion or extremes.

Work with me

Build strength that supports how you live

1:1 Coaching

Personalised coaching built around you – your goals, your body, and your life.

Whether we work together in person at Biggar Rugby Club Gym or online, you’ll follow a tailored plan with clear intent behind every session. Training adapts as you progress, giving you structure, guidance, and confidence without overwhelm.

Group Coaching

Structured strength training in a small, supportive group environment.

Group coaching offers clear progression, hands-on coaching, and the motivation that comes from training alongside others. It’s welcoming, focused, and designed to help you build strength and confidence – without feeling intimidated or rushed.

Online Programmes

Well-designed strength programmes you can follow independently, with clarity and purpose.

Each programme is built using the same principles as my 1:1 coaching – structured, progressive, and adaptable. Ideal if you want a reliable plan that removes guesswork and helps you train consistently at your own pace.

Strength Continuum

A way of understanding strength – not a system to sell.

The Strength Continuum is the philosophy that underpins all of my coaching. It recognises that strength is always adapting and that the best training balances structure with flexibility. It’s about building strength that lasts, not chasing exhaustion.

Where to start

Strength should make life easier

A lot of people start training because they want to:

But too often, training becomes overwhelming.

Random workouts.
Pushing too hard.
Not knowing if you’re doing things right.

Strength training shouldn’t add stress.
It should build resilience.

1:1 Coaching

1:1 coaching offers the highest level of support and individualisation. Every session or programme is shaped around your goals, experience, and how your body is responding.

Clear guidance, thoughtful progression, and honest feedback, helping you build strength with confidence and consistency.

Online Programmes

Online programmes are well-structured strength plans you can follow independently, designed using the same principles as my 1:1 coaching. Each programme has a clear focus and progression, helping you train with intent and confidence.

FAQs

I'm here to help

No. Coaching is tailored to where you’re starting from. Whether you’re new to training or returning after a break, sessions are structured to help you build strength safely and confidently.

Not at all. While I do work with athletes, most clients are everyday people who want to feel stronger, move better, and train properly without feeling overwhelmed.

Not necessarily. Strength is built progressively. Load is introduced when it’s appropriate, with a focus on good movement, control, and confidence.

Personal training is in-person coaching at Biggar Rugby Club Gym. Online coaching offers the same structured, personalised approach, with remote support and flexibility around when and where you train.

Most people train two to four times per week, depending on their goals, schedule, and recovery. We’ll find a structure that fits your life, not the other way around.

It begins with a consultation. We’ll talk through your goals, experience, and any concerns, and decide on the best way to move forward.
